South Africa is at a tipping point. Our sixth general election is the most important election in our lifetime.
Voting is a sacred duty and must be cherished. To cherish the vote is to turn out and vote and thereafter remain vigilant in the political processes to ensure promises made are kept.

The refusal to discharge this sacred duty and moral obligation is the ultimate betrayal of our struggle heroes who fought and died for our freedom and liberty.
Those who choose not to register and those who abstain from voting are an insult to everyone who fearlessly sacrificed life and limb for our democracy.
It is sheer cowardice when civil apathy prevents us from casting our precious votes. It is indeed an act of supreme sacrilege when we ignore the ramifications of being absent on polling day.
Voting is a fundamental right in a democracy, ignore at your peril.
Please exercise your right to vote, our country’s well-being and future hinges on our votes.
