I am appealing to the city council or whoever is responsible for the parks to address the concern of unpleasant toilets found in Homestead Park.
It is a beautiful park which was recently renovated, but the toilets are bad.

They are very dirty, I can’t imagine people using them this festive season.
I am afraid people will get sick.
I suggest they are cleaned and some people in need of jobs be stationed at the entrance of the toilets so people who want to use them pay for the upkeep.
I, for one, am willing to pay as long as the toilets are clean.
Editor’s note: Ekurhuleni metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe said the metro has cleaned up the ablution facilities and is currently repairing broken and vandalised toilet facilities. Repaired ablution facilities will be in operation in the next week.
