Chi-Nelri on the road to recovery

Words will never be enough to describe how thankful we are.

Going through the last nine months…

Wow!

What a journey.

We hope that with Chi-Nelri’s story people will be able to believe in miracles, will know that God heals. Never give up on God, know that He will answer your prayers and that God works things out on His timetable to bring the best results for us.

To Chi-Nelri:

God decided that your work on earth is not done.

The more you thank life, the more life gives you to be thankful for.

It is not happy people who are grateful, it is grateful people who are happy.

Let every day be the start of something new, with God on your side.

Another milestone reached – that one small girl can be so excited to go back to school.

Praise the Lord.

Editor’s note: Chi-Nelri was born with a medical condition known as familial hypercholesterolaemia which is characterised by higher than normal levels of low-density lipoprotein (unhealthy) blood cholesterol in the body. The four-year-old’s cholesterol count due to her condition was often in the mid to high 20s. Owing to this, Chi-Nelri was in need of a liver transplant. On April 11, 2019, it was reported her cholesterol count was 5.9 after she received a part of her aunt, Deidré Cronje’s, liver. Nine months later, Chivon confirmed to the City Times that Chi-Nelri now has a cholesterol count of around 3.5.
