Munies introduce Blitzbowls

Blitzbowls is an initiative by Benoni Municipal Bowling Club to make bowls more accessible to all Benoni residents regardless of age, fitness levels and sporting ability.

Anybody can play Blitzbowls and a warm welcome is extended to:

• Families that can have some fun together for a few hours on a Sunday morning without having to spend a fortune.

• New bowlers that want to try their hand at a new sport without having to buy an expensive kit.

• Established bowlers that do not have the time to spend three hours or more playing bowls on a Sunday morning.

Play starts at 10am and ends at noon.

Refreshments will be provided at the club facilties and coaching (and club bowls) will be provided from 9am.

Come as you are.

The only requirement is that you wear flat-soled shoes.

There is also plenty of secure parking at the Willowmore Park Stadium next door.

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends and to discover an easy to play, new sport that could easily become a passion.
