BCC hosts whacky golf challenge

This initiative from BCC’s head of golf, Damon Lochner, and his team from the Stix and Stones Proshop, was highly successful and drew a full afternoon field.

This ensures that this will become a regular annual event on the BCC calendar.

Besides a mystery scoring process, golfers were treated to some whacky challenges on the course, including teeing off with a rugby ball between their legs, putting on one leg, with a pool cue and with a driver, as well as many other whacky ideas.

Professional golfer and Benoni boy Dean O’Riley, from the Sunshine Tour, was also on hand at the par three eighth hole, to challenge the players.
