Young riders leap to success

Riders from Fifth Avenue Equestrian excelled at the recent Sanesa Primary and High School Quarter finals held at Sankt Georg Stables in Brakpan on a freezing cold weekend.

Primary school riders Shelby Lowe (on Ikar) and Shiyanne Goodayle (on Steelworx) did exceptionally well.

Lowe (an Arbor Primary School pupil who is instructed by Kaye van der Westhuizen) won the victrix ludorom in the 50cm ideal time (results were accumulated over four series of shows held).

Goodayle, who is instructed by Lauren Burrage, won the victrix ludorum in the 40cm competition class (nine years old and younger).

The results were also accumulated over four series of shows held.

High school rider Jaide Bezuidenhout (on Featherfoot Aswan) also performed well for Fifth Avenue Stables.

The pupil from Maranatha Christian School won the victrix ludorum in the 90cm accumulator class.
