Playing for Nathan

Benoni Northerns Indians Ball Club played a memorial game in honour of the late Nathan Miles on Saturday, August 29.

Miles, who passed away on August 15 after a battle with cancer at the age of 24 years old, was a bat boy/mascot for the Indians’ Major A team and became an integral fixture and a positive source of encouragement in the team’s dug-out.

His parents Gordon and Mercia and his sister Sabrina were the guests of honour at the game which was played on the club’s main diamond.
