Champagne for a great campaign

The 2015 National Off-road Championship season recently came to its conclusion.

Benoni’s Jaycee Nienaber, riding for the D&H Engineering Works Yamaha team, competed in the championships in the OR2 class.

Races were held all over the country, the last two last week, on Thursday, September 24, and Saturday, September 26, at the Brandvlei Cellars, in Worcester, in the Western Cape.

It was a tough and demanding year with up and downs for the former Hoërskool Hans Moore pupil, but he managed to achieve second position in the OR2 class.

He was the only rider in the class who was able to finish all the races, but he was forced to drop one result as per Motorsport South Africa (MSA) regulations.

Nienaber is currently leading the Northern Regional Championship, with the final round to be held at end of October, in Ventersburg.
