Kelly is on track for off-road success
Jordan Kelly, a Grade Four learner at St Dunstan’s College has recently excelled in motocross.
Having competed in the East Rand Off-Road Association (ERORA) championships from 2011, at the Kempton Park-based track, the Rynfield resident began racing in the 50cc class to gain experience on the ERORA track.
Three years later he moved up to the 65cc novice class and won the 2016 Championship.
This year he had a tough year of racing, which included a broken arm, but he still managed to win the championship.

He is also chasing an overall third position at the Pistons 65cc Championship in Alberton, a highly competitive 65cc class with top regional riders.
In 2018 Kelly will move up the 85cc class and will be one of the youngest riders competing in this class at both the ERORA Championship and the Pistons Championship in the same year.
His dream is to stamp his mark on the regional and national circuit with the goal of competing overseas.
