The Dan Triangle Karate Club, which has dojos in Benoni, Brakpan and Boksburg, capped off a good year with their annual prize-giving for club members at the Brakpan Indoor Centre on November 29.
These members of the Dan Triangle Karate Club received trophies for training, dedication, discipline and attendance during the year. They are (from back): Bruce Mosia (Most Dedicated Youth), Nicholas de Vaux (Most Committed and Enthusiastic Senior), Elie Tchouangue (Most Improved and Best Budu Spirit for Veterans), Jaun-Pierre Vermeulen, Megan Duval, Stephanie Watt (Sportspersons of the Year), Erika Eastes (Most Improved and Dedicated Women), Tamryn Olinger (Most Dedicated and Outstanding Youth Girl), Andrew de Jesus (Best Budu Spirit and Most Improved Senior), Marco Companerut (Most Perseverance and Most Dedicated Low Belt Senior). Front: Jason Coulson and Gavin Gessing (Most Improved Junior Boys), Calib Janneker and Matthew Philipps (Most Dedicated Junior Boys), Tyler Fourie and Bradley Ruthven (Most Outstanding and Motivated Junior Boys), Lesedi Sopeng and Nathan Groenewald (Most Outstanding with Potential Youth). Absent: Dirren Moodley, Michael Conroy, Lusanda Shai, Lesego Shai, Aubrey Shai, Christopher Thela and Debbie Watt.
