Benoni Northerns Cricket Club (BNCC) held their junior prize-giving for the recent summer season at the club on April 15.
Daniel Hutton, a player in the u-12B side, was announced as the club’s Junior Player of the Year.
The junior scored 186 runs in seven batting innings at an average of 31.5 runs per innings.
His top score was 74 runs.
He also proved particularly valuable with the leather.
He bowled nine overs, taking four wickets for 40 runs with an average of 10, an economy rate of 4.4.
