Local golfing talent Jayden Schaper (16) was part of a GolfRSA national team that played the East of Ireland Amateur Open at County Louth in Ireland, last week.
His compatriot and teammate Christo Lamprecht became the youngest champion and first foreign winner in the 76-year history of the Irish tournament.
Schaper is the highest ranked junior golfer in the country and continues to improve his trade abroad.
