A 7.8km mountain bike (MTB) park was opened at the Boksburg Stadium on July 28.
Over 700 enthusiastic young cyclists peddled around the newly constructed 7.8km mountain bike track during the Ekurhuleni leg of the Gauteng Schools Mountain Bike League held at the stadium on Saturday.
The track is laid with gravel and obstacles to optimise the MTB experience.
It will afford scores of mountain bikers and the community at large an opportunity to be able to practice and compete at the park.
