Entries are open for the 2019 Johnson Crane Marathon
Don’t delay, these sell out fast.
Entries have opened for the 37th John Crane Hire running and walking races, organised by Benoni Harriers Athletic Club (BHAC).
The races (a 42.2km, 21.1km run/walk, 10km run/walk, 5km fun run/walk and a 1km children’s race) will take place from Willowmoore Park in Harpur Avenue on the morning of January 27, 2019.
The 10km is a Central Gauteng Athletics Championship sanctioned race (the walk is not included).
The 42.2km road race is a popular qualifying event for both the Two Oceans and Comrades marathons.
This year’s Johnson Crane attracted in excess of 14 500 runners and walkers.
Online entries opened on September 28 while in-store entries opened on October 10.
