Benoni Northerns runners do 100km in 10 days for charity

Running for the children.

Benoni Northerns Athletic Club (BNAC) held their annual Christmas Benoni Child Welfare/Colin House run on December 9.

This year’s run was made extra special by some of the runners who took part in the Christmas 10 in 10 Run. Starting on November 30, members ran 10km per day for 10 consecutive days, making a total of 100km.

The final 10km run on the 10th day tied in on the day of the Christmas run to the welfare.

On each day of the challenge, runners brought a non-perishable food or grocery item to donate.

The runners collected plenty of goods for the charity.
