Pakistan to open tour of South Africa with warm-up match in Benoni
The summer of cricket gets going at Willowmoore Park.
The Pakistan national cricket team will start their tour of South Africa with a three-day warm-up match from December 19 to 21 against Cricket South Africa (CSA) Invitational XI at Willowmoore Park which precedes the three-Test series in Centurion, Cape Town and Johannesburg.
The Invitational XI will be skippered by KwaZulu-Natal Coastal batsman Marques Ackerman and also features talented wicketkeeper-batsman Matthew Breetzke.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has named a strong squad for the tour including Yasir Shah, the leg-spinner who just recently became the fastest bowler to reach 200 wickets in Test cricket.
