Brothers are flying the Actonville Spurs flag high

Brothers Saahil and Amaan Khan who play for Actonville Spurs Cricket Club (ASCC) are making their club proud.

Saahil has established himself in the club’s Eastern Premier League XI and has been selected for the Titans Invitational High Performance Team.

“It is a great achievement for him and along with parents Sarfaraaz and Aneesa Khan, the club are extremely proud of this distinction,” said club public relations officer Zunaid Seedat.

The Titans Invitational side will compete in the tournament with the best schools in the country from February 21 to 25.

“This is a good opportunity for him to prove himself so that he can make his mark in any team.

“We hope he has a great tournament and makes Easterns proud.”

His brother Amaan received the best Junior Schools Player of the Year Award recently, highlighting the incredible talent in this family.

“What makes this story so incredible is that there is one more brother ready to make the step up as well,” said Seedat.

“The youngest sibling Riyaad Khan is only 11, but looks to be on his way to joining his elder siblings in flying the Actonville Spurs and indeed the Khan Family flag high.

“As I say, don’t tell them you ‘Khan’t’,” added Seedat.
