Take note of affected roads for the Robor Scaffolding Marathon routes this Sunday
If you are going to church or work on Sunday morning, take note of the roads that will be filled with runners.
Residents and motorists are urged to exercise patience and take note of affected roads during the Robor Scaffolding Marathon between 6am and 2pm on Sunday, April 28.
The roads indicated on the route map above will all be affected by the running of the popular local race.
As per the organisers, Benoni Northerns Athletic Club (BNAC), if you plan on travelling in or around the affected area on Sunday, please see the map above and plan the best route for you so as to avoid any frustration that may be caused while waiting for runners to pass.
“An even better idea will be to join in the fun and come along for the run,” they said.
“You can register for all the race distance at the club on Saturday, April 27, between 10am and 5pm.”
Benoni Northerns Sports Club is situated in Brodigan Street.
