Northerns rugby looking for coach, manager
Pre-season training started on January 11.
The Benoni Northerns Rugby Club is looking for a new coach and manager for its u-21 and open teams for its 2022 season.
Having played little rugby in the past two years because of Covid-19, Jaco Havenga, vice-chairperson of the club, told the City Times that they were excited to be going back to the field and are looking forward to the year ahead.

“After a difficult two years of trying to keep rugby going, Benoni Northerns Rugby is excited to announce that practice has started, every Tuesday and Thursday at 18:30 at our sports grounds in Northmead,” he said.
“We would play warm-up matches and a few league games and the league would then close due to the pandemic.
“This year, we need to start early with fitness training to get conditioning ready for the upcoming season.”
Those interested in the manager and coach posts are encouraged to send their applications at jmlhavenga@gmail.com or contact Jaco Havenga on 082 494 9604.
