Senior golfers toast Christmas with successful round at Ebotse

The last competition is at ERPM Golf Club on December 11.

The Ekurhuleni Senior Women’s Golf (ESWG) brought festive cheer to the Ebotse Links in Rynfield during the organisation’s Christmas competition on November 13.

A full field of over 100 ladies took to the green to compete for this month’s prize in the penultimate leg of the ESWG’s monthly competition.

The team of Neela Jivan, Veena Kanji, Casandra Durman and Jeanette Ross scored 98 points to claim first place, ahead of Mariette White, Gail Love, Marlise Ferreira and Ami Stanisavljevic, who raked in 92 points for second place.

Madie Baressi, Salie Morgan, Lynda Smit and Di Gouws rounded up the top three with 88 points.

The ESWG chairperson, Charmaine Stone, expressed pride with the turnout and said she could not wait to see another full field at their final competition at ERPM Golf Club on December 11.
