The Boksburg Athletic Club’s Rieghardt Rautenbach raised the country’s flag after a podium finish in the sprint triathlon at the World Triathlon Championships in Abu Dhabi on November 24. The 24-year-old competed in the men's 20-24 AG super-sprint. He completed the event in 36:07 to finish third behind winner Abulaziz Alduaij from Kuwait and runner-up Matt Coleman from USA.
