Benonian Ben Oosthuizen claimed a gold medal in the U13 freestyle category and a bronze in the junior schools' Presidents’ category at the Ekurhuleni Open Wrestling Championship at Brixton Multipurpose Hall on February 25.
The Laerskool Brentwoonpark learner, and member of the Primrose Wrestling Club (also known as The Raptors Wrestlers), helped his team to collect a total of 11 medals from the competition.
The club collected five gold medals, two silvers and four bronze medals.
