Friday night fun at Grid and Grill

As a Benoni resident I have always enjoyed a good evening at Grid and Grill, so when I was asked to do a Friday night pub crit at the establishment I jumped at the opportunity to throw my two cents into the mix.

I was accompanied by a colleague and together we enjoyed a few cold beverages on the balcony overlooking Benoni’s famous Bunny Park.

The thing that I like about Grid and Grill (or “the Grid” as my friends and I like to call it) is the casual, laid back ambience that you encounter there.

The service is good and the waiters and management are always accommodating and friendly.

A Friday night at the Grid is always a crowd puller, with weekly live music entertainment that is certain to get your head bopping and your feet tapping — in fact, some patrons even pull out their best dance moves as they jol the night away.

The food at Grid and Grill is also fantastic and the pub menu allows you to fill any hunger gaps that you may encounter while having a few social drinks with your partner or friends.

The baskets at the Grid and Grill are always a hunger buster and my colleague and I opted to share the delicious Grid Basket that combines samoosas, chicken nuggets, ribs and sausage.

After enjoying the scrumptious basket we sat back and soaked up the party atmosphere that can only be found at the Grid and Grill on a Friday evening.

So, if you’re looking for a place to eat well, drink well and party well, then the Grid and Grill is the place to be on a Friday night.

It is situated on the corner of Pretoria Road and Struben Street. LG
