Delight in the sounds of HunTer

Whether your music taste lies with country, rock, pop, jazz, golden oldies or ballads, HunTer (Monique Leite) is for you.

Singer and song writer HunTer is launching her brand new album, Halfway around the world, and two Benoni City Times readers stand a chance to win this album, signed by her.

This singer and songwriter caters for everyone.

“I cover many styles, to cater for the public; not everyone at an event or function listens to the same style,” she said.

She started singing in Grade Three in Rynfield Primary School’s choir, took singing lessons with Tanya Kramer, based in Morehill, when she was 13 and entered various talent competitions.

When she was 16 years old she started singing in public, entertaining crowds with her vocal versatility.

Her music video “Gee Nooit Op, Gee Nooit In” has been on Kyknet since July, last year. This was the Afrikaans hit off the last album, Success.

She has performed with many artists, such as Manuel Escorcio, Gerhardt Steyn, Robbie Klay, Pieter Koen, Freddie Nest, Patricia Lewis, Brenda Fassie, Mandoza, Clive Bruce, Barbara Ray and many more.

Her new album is said to be her soul work, as she has written most of the songs herself.

Fans of HunTer can look forward to the CD launch of Halfway around the World, in the near future.

To stand a chance to win her album, simply SMS your name and surname, followed by bcthunter, to 35718.

The winners will be selected in a lucky draw.

SMS are charged at R1.50

The competition’s closing date is Saturday, November 16, at midnight, and winners will be notified shortly thereafter.
