Addictive taste at Jimmy’s Killer Fish and Chips

My colleague and I indulged our senses with the delightful aroma and addictive taste of the food from Jimmy's Killer Fish and Chips, on Wednesday, October 8.

The shop is situated at No 2 Glynnwood Shopping Centre, in Prince’s Avenue.

For the best fish and chips in town, I recommend that you try the place.

Hungry as I was, I settled for Jimmy’s Fiesta, consisting of a full plate of chips, legendary hake, small Russian small Vienna and four slices of polony.

With the shop specialising in fish and chips I was really expecting nothing but the best on my dish, and they impressed.

I had a delicious fish and chips taste experience, served in a clean setting, with friendly service and reasonable pricing.

My colleague settled for a chunky hake burger and chips and said it was delicious, with her chips cooked to perfection.

There are several specials being run on a daily basis at Jimmy’s Killer Fish and Chips, including Feast Four Four (consisting of four legendary hakes) and the Killer Gatsby, among others.

Dishes including prawns and calamari, and toasted sandwiches are also on the menu.

Though the eatery has been in existence for quite some time, it is now managed by new owner Iqbal Baruffwala, who took over three months ago.

It is open from Monday to Thursday, from 9am to 8pm, on Friday to Saturday, from 9am to 9pm and on Sunday, from 11am to 8pm.

I recommend it to anyone who appreciates the best taste of fish and chips. MM
