Carnival City hails the start of summer with One Night in Africa

Carnival City kicks off its sizzling hot summer entertainment line-up with One Night in Africa.

The authentically South African music extravaganza features four times Grammy Award winning a capella group Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Oliver Mtukduzi and The Muffinz.

The show, presented by Breakout Management in association with Kaya FM and DSTV, takes place in the Big Top Arena, on Saturday, November 1.

Jaco Saaiman, the entertainment manager at Carnival City, said that, with Grammy Award winning Ladysmith Black Mambazo in this mix, One Night in Africa promises to be a night to remember

“What a way to kick-start our summer entertainment line-up; we have three fantastic, authentic African bands performing in one spectacular show,” he said.

Ladysmith Black Mambazo is an internationally recognised South African a cappella vocal group that has created a unique and spiritual sound that has touched a worldwide audience.

Their musical efforts over the past five decades have garnered praise and accolades from a wide body of people, organisations and countries.

After gracing international stages for many years and being honoured and recognised world-wide, they will be showcasing their talents on stage locally.

The show starts at 8pm.
