Voltrex gives a taste of The Festival

Voltrex gave shoppers at The Square at Farrarmere a taste of what to expect at The Festival @ St Dunstan’s, happening on May 7.

The pair, Nkosi Sibanda and Aaron Ngwenya, performed at the centre on April 22.

They set up their sound and started jamming to the music, drawing attention from those who were rushing through their daily routine.

The duo performed for almost an hour, entertaining those who passed their stall as well as car guards and some shop owners.

Events promoter Paul Smith also sold tickets for the Festival on the day.

Overall, the event was a success and created a relaxed vibe for a Friday afternoon, as Fridays should be.

If you want to party with the two, among other DJs and bands such as Gangs of Ballet, Chunda Munki, Moloi.Hesse Band, Johnny Apple, Timo ODV, DJ Fresh, and Desmond and the Tutus at the Festival, tickets are still on sale.

St Dunstan’s College and Preparatory School, Wakaberry Oakfields, Harvey World Travel Benoni, RED Boutique (Sheridan Street) in Farrarmere, the Benoni City Times offices and Cynammon Boutique in Northmead Square are selling tickets during office hours.

Emails can also be sent to events@stationroad.co.za to book or reserve tickets.
