Piano learners play their way to victory

Stage Bright Musicians in Benoni recently held its annual end of year concert for their piano students which saw an attendance of about 100 people.

Stage Bright Musicians in Benoni's top winners, Lucie Miller (back, gold medal), Liani Vorster (front, silver medal), Phillip Vorster (gold medal) and Lisa Minnaar (silver medal) received their awards from Engela Conradie (back, next to Miller), Chantie Minnaar and Elle Snibbe (absent from photograph).

The concert featured all the students who attended piano lessons in 2017 and the top students were awarded for their outstanding achievements in examinations, national and local competitions and eisteddfod.

Three learners obtained their Gauteng and National colours in performing arts and were chosen to represent South Africa in Los Angeles this year.
