Caye is a DJ, producer and songwriter who began building his profile eight years ago when he entered the South African club circuit.
Using his DJ sets and ability, Caye is able to keep crowds entertained, both through live sets and popular radio mixes.
“Music has played an integral part in my life for as long as I can remember,” Caye said.
Caye learned to play the guitar at the tender age of six and evolved to performing in theatre productions, choirs and bands as a teen.
“I realized that I was the happiest standing in front of a crowd of people and sharing my passion for music [with] them,” he said.
Throughout the years, he was known for playing House Music and its various sub-genres but the decision to reinvent himself and start over was to push a sound more close to his heart, both as a DJ and as an artist.
Caye released his debut single Reflections in 2015 on Universal Music South Africa.
The single featured the vocals of former Liquideep front man Ziyon and showcased their various influences from live guitar and deep house drums.
He later reworked the single with Mark DVB which charted on several radio stations.
Tickets for The Festival can be bought at St Dunstan’s College, The Benoni City Times, and Oasis Water in Oakfields and Rynfield Shopping centres at the cost of R100 per person from March 1 to March 31.
If you miss that, you can grab your tickets for R200 from April until 11 May.
And if you miss those sales, then the festival still has your back on the day so you do not need to have FOMO because tickets will be available at the gate for R300.
If you want VIP tickets, they are on sale for R400 each, but VIP tickets will not be available for sale on the day of The Festival at the gate.
Do not miss out on partying with Caye, TiMO ODV, Chunda Munki, Voltrex, DJ Euphonik, Zolani Mahola and Rubber Duc.
