Panze, who works as an IT specialist, started the brand in 2012.

“The name means to make a plan or just get things done,” said Panze.

“Makaplan is a remarkable word for me because it epitomises my belief that when life gives you lemons you makaplan!” he said.

Bheki ‘Junior’ Panze says the name of his clothing label stems from his motto in life.

“This is my motto in life.”
