Back in the early 2000s, Emperors Palace’s Monsoon Lagoon was one of the hottest night clubs in Gauteng and was also home to the Big Brother South Africa Season One eviction party scene.

On December 13, the Palace of Dreams recreated a little of that magic when it held a once-off Monsoon Lagoon Reunion Party, attended by some of the housemates from the first Big Brother, in the Red Roman Shed, as part of the resort’s 20th birthday celebrations.
