Shireen wins first round in breakfast cook off
What's your best breakfast recipe?
WINNER of the first round of our breakfast recipe competition is Shireen Steytler who whipped up a fabulous breakfast of scrambled egg tower with smoked salmon on a grilled hashbrown topped with a dollop of creme fraiche.
Now it is the turn of our other home chef readers to challenge Shireen and enter their favourite breakfast recipe in the Berea Mail and Hirsch breakfast competition.
If your recipe is chosen you’ll be invited to the next cook off at Hirsch’s on 26 April with the final on Friday, 9 May where the finalists will serve their breakfast to someone special.
The person who creates the healthiest, tastiest breakfast will win either a Rest Assured bed or a Russell Hobbs appliance.
To enter, fill in the entry form and copy/paste your recipe into the text box. You can also drop off a copy of your recipe with Shivani at Hirsch Springfield. All the entries will be assessed and the three best will be chosen for the cook off.
The competition closes at noon on Thursday, 24 April. The winners will be notified telephonically. Terms and conditions apply.
