BEREA police arrested a man for possession of suspected stolen goods on Tuesday morning.
According to Lieutenant PN Naidoo, Communications Officer at Berea SAPS, police officers were on patrol along John Zikhali (Sydenham) Road when they noticed a suspicious man walking down the road with a kitchen sink and step-ladder.
“Officers questioned the man about the two items but he could not give a reasonable explanation for why they were in his possession so he was arrested and detained at Berea SAPS.
“Anyone who had a step-ladder and kitchen sink stolen on Tuesday can visit the Berea Police Station to identify the goods,” said Naidoo.
