THERE was a great turnout for Tuesday's Bulwer Community Safety Forum (BCSF) meeting.
Around 80 residents attended the last meeting of the year, where Capt Motsamai Dingaan from Metro Police along with some of the top security companies who deal with security and safety products were on hand to answer any particular questions residents may have had regarding their particular security needs.
A dog trainer also attended to advise people on problems they may be having with their dogs barking all night or advice on training their dog to obey commands and become a better watch dog and companion.
Heather Rorick, chairperson, thanked Trellidor, Alliance Security Fencing, Service Centre, The Smart Dog, ABSA Bank, Glenwood Crisis Centre, HOLAH, Blue Security, Metro Police, the BCSF Team and Parksmart for attending the meeting.
“Thanks also go to Mzansi Security, ADT Security, Rotary Berea, Keys and Yossi's for their contribution and for attending our meeting. A big thank you must also go to Glenwood Community Church Hall for allowing us to have our meetings on the premises, and thanks to all the residents from all over that attended and to all who sponsored refreshments,” she said.
Heather thanked the BCSF committee members who helped her and worked hard to make the meeting happen.
