Durban rocks the Colour Run
Durbanites enjoyed the exciting colour run for the first time on Saturday.
THERE was a riot of colour along the Durban beachfront on 29 November when The Color Run rolled out in the city for the first time.
People from in and around Durban headed to the start at Sunkist Lawns for an adrenalin-packed, fun-loving, colour-filled experience like no other. From the moment they left the start to the minute they crossed the 5km finish line, walkers/runners were sprayed with colour in an event deigned to celebrate health, happiness and individuality.
East Coast Radio presenter Deon Govender rocked the festival zone after the event, where there was great music and more colour.
It was a fun day out for family, friends and strangers who became friends during the race. They join more than four million people in 50 countries who have already taken part in The Color Run.
