Vodacom lines are down

SOME Vodacom lines are currently down in Durban, causing chaos in some affected areas.

Those wanting to get hold of many emergency services cannot do so as these calls are not connecting. SA Community Crime Watch’s Steven King said that if any residents need to get hold of emergency services they can contact the watch via WhatsApp on 082 920 5799.

Lines affected include landlines to Vodacom numbers, Vodacom calls to Vodacom calls and other networks to Vodacom lines.

It would seem that not all Vodacom customers are affected. Some residents are able to make contact with Vodacom contacts, but others aren’t.  Twitter is abuzz with Tweets from Durbanites demanding answers.
