Bluff Meat Supply gives pensioners 10% off every month
Every day is Pensioners’ Day at Bluff Meat Supply, where pensioners can save 10% on their purchases through the Meat Your Rewards programme.
What began as a celebration of Older Persons Month in October, will continue, allowing pensioners to enjoy this whopping 10% discount on their purchases.
Cameron Belling, Head of Marketing at Bluff Meat Supply, said they wanted to ‘do more’ for their pensioners.
“Many of our pensioners have been shopping with us for decades, and some have known our store managers by name. We know how tight things are right now. Fixed incomes don’t stretch the way they used to, and rising food prices hit older shoppers hardest. We wanted to do more than take a few rand off. We wanted to make it easier for our seniors to put good quality meat on the table every week,” he added.
While Bluff Meat Supply’s regular pensioner days on Sundays and Mondays have always been popular, Belling said customers requested more choice on the day. Now shoppers can enjoy the 10% discount on their purchases up to the total value of R3000 every month.
“It’s our way of saying thank you to the people who have supported Bluff Meat Supply since the beginning,” he explained.
How it works
- Anyone over the age of 60 is eligible for the discount.
- Simply register as a member of the Meat Your Rewards programme. Make sure to include a date of birth to claim the discount.
- Don’t forget your ID or driver’s licence to validate your date of birth at the store.
- Items that are already discounted or on promotion are excluded from Pensioners 10% discount.
- The discount applies to a maximum qualifying spend of R3 000 per calendar month, per Meat Your Rewards profile.
