Heritage Circle meets
Members of Saint Giles' Heritage Circle enjoyed their first outing at Market last week.
SAINT Giles held the first outing of its new Heritage Circle at the Market restaurant, in Berea last week.
Members enjoyed high tea and fellowship.
Speaking at the event, Managing director of Saint Giles, Terry Rennie, said: “A NPO doesn’t survive if it doesn’t make itself known. We provide employment to 107 disabled people and have 35 wheelchair patients in our gym. We have started purchasing amazing specialised equipment for them. We are conscious of the fact that we need to market ourselves to remain sustainable, as we don’t receive government funding. We encourage people attend our open days at Saint Giles so they can learn more about us.”
The Heritage Circle is a club with a social element which is free to interested people 60 years of age and older. The club will host exclusive open day tours and special functions with tasty eats, speakers and activities.
