Breakfast helps to feed the babies

FEED the Babies Fund held its annual ladies’ pamper breakfast event at Coastlands Hotel, Musgrave, on Saturday.

The event was well supported by the community, who all did their bit to help feed the babies while enjoying a morning of pampering, which included a full breakfast, goodie bag and a massage.

Feed the Babies Fund’s mission is to facilitate the growth and development of babies during their formative years, from birth to six years old, through focusing on their nutritional and educational needs.

The Fund works in KwaZulu-Natal with around 300 crèches, providing cereal, foodstuffs and other resources, improving their administrative processes, training them in Early Childhood Development, basic hygiene and first aid, supporting the crèches where possible in becoming self-sustaining and supporting them in registering their organisations with the Department of Social Development.
