Charity shop hours extended
The Donation Station Charity Shop will host a jumble sale to celebrate extended shopping hours.
THE Donation Station Charity Shop at Child Welfare Durban and District is extending its hours from Monday 18 May.
The charity shop has operated from the premises in Clarence Road since 13 March and is one of the Welfare's major income-generating projects.
In the past the shop was only open two days a week but will now open daily. There is a variety of items available including culinary items, vintage clothing and goodies, linen, bric a brac, books and children's toys.
According to Glenda Arends from Child Welfare, items are taken into the shop all the time and people are also invited to donate any items they no longer want.
There will be a big launch in the form of a jumble sale on 28 May from 9am to 1pm and the public are invited to attend.
There will be food, clothing, bedding and other items on sale, as well as musical entertainment.
