Love lights a candle
The community is invited to light a candle of hope for those suffering from or lost to cancer.
ST CYPRIAN'S Church, in collaboration with CANSA, will host a service of hope, love and remembrance at the church, 603 Umbilo Road, on Thursday, 3 December from 6.30pm.
The idea behind the service is to light a candle to honour cancer survivors, remember those who lost the battle against cancer and share hope with those still fighting the battle, thus spreading a message of love, hope and remembrance at a time of the year when families are planning to get together for the festive season.
The Durban Symphonic Choir will perform at the service.
The service is non-denominational and will offer love and support for people with cancer and their families.
Refreshments will be served afterwards.
