Bicycle donation appreciated

iThemba Lethu recently received a donation of bicycles from a local company.

EXPAND a Sign recently donated two bicycles to iThemba Lethu, a Durban-based NGO devoted to helping babies and the youth regain a meaningful destiny.

iThemba Lethu means “I have a destiny” and their vision is to restore destiny to orphaned/abandoned babies and children whose futures are at risk of being negatively impacted by the effects of HIV/AIDS.

Karen Brokensha, iThemba Lethu programmes co-ordinator, thanked Expand a Sign for their generous donation.

“We are extremely grateful for their support. As a non-profit organisation we rely on the support of the local community and corporates,” she said.

“We believe in giving to those less fortunate and are happy to have donated two bicycles to the youth at iThemba Lethu,” said Kirsty Fonzari – Expand a Sign marketing manager.
