Pamper your feet for a good cause
A spa will be raising funds for CROW through donations of proceeds from foot massages in April.
A LOCAL spa is doing its bit to help raise funds to care for injured and vulnerable wildlife.
Tranquility Health and Beauty will host a charity drive to help raise funds for the Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) and will donate 100 per cent of its proceeds from foot massages to the organisation.
“It takes a special group of people to do what CROW does. They often work long after hours and are willing to go the extra mile for every animal to ensure that they can be returned to live safely and freely in their natural environment. These are some of the reasons why Tranquility Health and Beauty has decided to honour CROW with a charity drive,” said Claire Herbert from Tranquility.
During April, money will be raised for CROW through a special 15 minute foot massage named “CROW’s feet” which will cost R50. All funds from this treatment will be donated to the organisation, and Tranquility will also be a drop off point for donated goods.
CROW has asked for donations of wild bird seed, chicken flavoured dog food, peanut butter, new or second hand towels, pillow cases, blankets, sheets, pasta, rice, Nespray milk powder, boxes of Latex gloves and more.
If you would like to book the CROW’s feet treatment or would like to know what else you can donate, call 031 837 1360.
