Biker seriously injured in Berea crash

A MOTORCYCLIST was seriously injured in a collision with a vehicle on the Berea on Sunday morning.

Rescue Care operations director, Garrith Jamieson, said paramedics arrived at the corner of Ridge Road and Overport Drive and found the seriously injured biker on the roof of the car. “He had sustained serious injuries and was stabilised by advanced life support paramedics before being rushed through tohospital. The car was severely damaged, however the driver was uninjured,” he explained.

Jamieson said the cause of the collision was unknown, however SAPS was on scene to investigate further.
