THE presidential induction of the Interact Club of Eden College took place recently.
It was attended by members of the Rotary Club of Durban and Rotary Assistant Governor Laurence Rae.
Incoming president, Tyrell Pillay, said that it was an honour to be at the helm this year. He said the Interact Club of Eden College was part of a global humanitarian organisation which relied heavily on team work.
“We work together and stay true to the Rotary Four Way Test in achieving our objectives” he said.
He confirmed that the club was already participating in two service projects, the making and supplying of sandwiches for the Salvation Army Berea Chapter soup kitchen and raising funds for CHOC.
Future projects include work to be identified at a home for the blind in Sherwood and launching the Red Lip Day campaign against women abuse.
