Cellphone safety tips
Lieutenant PN Naidoo, appeals to the community to be vigilant with their mobile to safeguard against opportunistic criminals. “Conceal your cellphone when you are in a public place and never leave your cellphone unattended in a public place. Don’t leave your cellphone on a table or chair next to where you are seated,” he warned.
Naidoo said when you are in a public place only answer your cellphone when it is safe to do so. “Avoid being tricked into lending your cellphone to someone who wants to make a call and be aware of pickpockets in the vicinity,” he added.
