The skydivers aim to draw attention to the centenary of the end of WW1 and the centenary of the use of the poppy as the Flower of Remembrance.

SKYDIVERS representing the SA Legion will jump into Jonsson Kings Park Stadium on Saturday, 22 September before the game between The Cell C Sharks and the Emirates Lions at 5.15pm.

The men will arrive with the game ball prior to the start of the game in an attempt to raise awareness for the centenary of the end of WW1 and the centenary of the use of the poppy as the Flower of Remembrance.

The SA Legion will be handing out poppies at the gates. People are encouraged to wear these with pride during the game.
