Street artist inspired by nature
At this talk Giffy Duminy will speak about what motivates him.
THE Botanical Society of South Africa KZN Coastal Branch presents Inspired by Nature and its Diversity, an illustrated lunch-time talk by street artist Giffy Duminy, on Monday, 8 October at Durban Botanic Gardens Visitors Centre at 12.45pm.
Giffy Duminy uses his talent to make a difference and he transforms gloomy, harsh places by painting beautiful murals inspired by nature. He has, on a voluntary basis, painted colourful pictures on several buildings belonging to non-profit organisations.

Keep Kloof Beautiful Association commissioned him to paint the Village Road bridge and it now uplifts the spirits of all who pass by.
At this talk Giffy will speak about what motivates him, will describe the process involved and will show examples of his work.
Entrance including tea or juice at the start is R30 for members, R50 for visitors and R20 for students or learners.
Proceeds to BotSoc branch projects. No need to book. Contact botsoc-kzn@mweb.co.za, 031 201 5111 or 071 869 3693.
