PICS: Eden College Prep celebrates World Book Day in style

South Africans are encouraged to support the culture of reading and incorporate it into their daily lifestyles.

IN celebration of World Book Day, Eden College Preparatory, Durban, encouraged their learners to dress like their favourite book characters. 
 
All the classes had to decorate their doors with a theme from a book and dress as a book character.
 

World Book Day is celebrated around the globe in more than 100 countries and Government Communications GCIS-Parliamentary Office is encouraging South Africans to create a culture of reading.

“South Africans are encouraged to support the culture of reading and incorporate it into their daily lifestyles,” said GCIS. 

They also encouraged parents to read to their children as it plays a fundamental role in their development.
