Miguel Louw’s killer sentenced to 25 years
"We can finally find some peace," said Miguel's aunt, Tasneem Dos Santos.
MOHAMED Ebrahim, who kidnapped and murdered 10-year-old Miguel Louw, has been sentenced to 25 years for premeditated murder.
The Durban man was found guilty on three counts for murder, kidnapping, and theft.
This, according to spokesperson for the KZN National Prosecuting Authority, Natasha Kara.

“The accused was sentenced to 25 years for premeditated murder, 18 months for theft and eight years for kidnapping,” said Kara.
Miguel’s aunt, Tasneem Dos Santos, said the family is happy with the outcome of the trial.
“It has been a very long wait. Considering all the factors, we are happy with the court ruling. It’s been a very long wait and, emotionally, it’s been a roller coaster for the whole family. We are happy we can finally find some peace. Even though it’s not going to bring Miguel back, now his soul can finally be at peace,” she said.

“We finally have closure after a long two and half years. It was a long wait,” added close family friend, Domenic King.

Louw was on his way home from school when he went missing in July 2018.
After a lengthy search for the young boy, his decomposed body was found two months later, in September, buried near Ebrahim’s Phoenix home.
